The number of participants who followed the tour package ‘Kampung Batik Giriloyo’ at least 10 people and maximum 50 people. Special participants package II, participants are invited to learn batik with batik guided in the village and their works belong to the participants.

Package tours ‘The Village of Batik Giriloyo’ offer to tourists to explore the area to see the natural sights and activities of the batik crafters.

The tourists are also invited to view the traditional houses and tombs of kings of Mataram which is above the top of the hill Imogiri. In addition, participants can explore the village and enjoy traditional food typical of the village “turi pecel and wedang uwuh”.

Giriloyo is a hamlet in the region Wukirsari Village, about 17 kilometers south of Yogyakarta city.

In the village there are four groups of batik which was formed on the initiative of Jogja Heritage Society (JHS) in cooperation with the Australian Indonesia Partnership.

Giriloyo batik craftsmen produced in the village contains the values that can then become a reference in the daily life of society.
